Exciting Employment Opportunities - Personal Helpers and Mentors Program (PHaMs)

 The aim of PHaMS is to provide recovery focused support to individuals who are socially isolated due to mental illness.  The PHaMs program will operate from a strong teamwork focus that includes a Team Leader, Outreach and Peer Support workers.  This is a new service aimed at disadvantaged people and covers a large and scenic geographic area including locations recently affected by the February bushfires.

 The main office of MCHS is located in Broadford less than an hour’s drive from Melbourne and half an hour from the northern suburbs.  Some services are provided on an outreach basis in the Mitchell and Murrindindi Shires or from our additional offices located in Seymour and Wallan.

 The following employment opportunities are currently available:

 PHaMs Team Leader- Full Time (Social Worker G2Yr3 $60,522.80 plus super)

 The successful applicant for the position of Senior Clinician will have extensive experience working with clients experiencing mental health problems, proven ability to lead a team and a commitment to an asset based approach to service delivery.

 PHaMs Outreach Worker - Part Time as negotiated (Welfare Worker C12 Y3 $43,784.00 pro rata)

Applicants for the positions of Outreach Workers will have experience of the mental health or welfare service system. 

 PHaMs Peer Support Worker - Part Time as negotiated (salary upon application)

 The successful applicant for the position of Peer Support Worker will have experience of the mental health or welfare service system.
