We are committed to excellence in the delivery of holistic, accessible, community based health services. We value community participation and working in partnership with other agencies to identify community needs. We strive to develop innovative programs and services and actively encourage community members to be responsible for their own well-being.

Services are available to all people living or working in Mitchell Shire. Many services are also available to residents of Murrindindi Shire.

Home, community visits, telephone, centre-based and after hours appointments are available for most services where appropriate.

Accessing Our Services

Our services are available to all residents in the Mitchell Shire. Many of our services are also available to Murrindindi Shire residents. We charge a small fee for some services but many are free. We serve all ages from tots to frail aged and offer support and information to their family and friends.

First Steps in Contacting Us:

Reception can connect you to some of our specific services.

Mitchell CHS also has an Intake Service that provides information about services available through our agency and other services in our region, and organises referral to required services. In an emergency, intake staff may also provide assistance when a staff member from a particular service is not available.

The Intake Service is available Monday – Friday from 2.00pm – 4.00pm by calling Mitchell CHS on (03) 5784 5555 or by visiting our Broadford centre. We are working to extend the operating times of the Intake Service.
