• Advice concerning modification of the home to improve independence and safety through the use of rails, specialised equipment and ramps.
• Assistance when choosing the most suitable electric scooter, manual or motorised wheelchair, and training in the safe use of the equipment.
• Assessment for the need for a personal safety alarm.
• Assistance with techniques/aids to better manage everyday tasks such as eating, dressing and cooking.
• Support for care-givers to assist them in gaining access to services, equipment training or funding to assist with the caring role.
